The rigor and pace of school often overwhelm students who struggle with executive functioning. PrepU Coach provides one-on-one, 30-minute “check-ins” twice a week aimed at developing a two to three day academic plan. At the end of each session, students will know what they need to do to stay on top of their immediate assignments and long-term projects, helping them successfully navigate their way.
Prep U provides online test prep, academic coaching and course-specific tutoring with one-on-one students around the world. time management
Set up organizational system to keep up with work on a day-to-day basis
Overcome issues of procrastination by filling in "unstructured time" with specific tasks
Follow-up every three days to ensure assigned tasks are complete, lay out the next three days of work, and make adjustments as workload and obligations shift
Class preparation
Review syllabi to ensure clear understanding of short- and long-term obligations
Encourage acquisition of all course materials
Fill out shared calendar with exam schedule, long-term project deadlines, office hours and class schedule
Advocate regular communication with professors/TAs for feedback, clarification and relationship building
